Concept
Linear motor drives on both sides of the table, combined with a variable hydrostatic slide system on the sliding surfaces, enable high-speed grinding and crowning grinding. An ultra-precision portal-type surface grinder supporting in-machine measurement through precise positioning.
Feature
・By adopting linear motor drive and variable hydrostatic slides on the left and right tables, the left and right table speeds can be freely controlled for 2-axis interpolation from stable low speeds up to 40 m/min.
・We offer a wide range of options including crowning, multi-processing, free contour machining, and measurement/correction machining.
・The ultra-precision variable hydrostatic slide system minimizes changes in the oil film on the guide surface. It flexibly controls oil flow, achieving oil film thickness variations less than 1/7th compared to conventional hydrostatic guide surfaces. Furthermore, hydrostatic oil consumption is reduced to less than 1/4th of conventional levels, significantly contributing to improved precision and energy savings through enhanced temperature management.
