Concept
A grinding machine equipped with two spindles, capable of handling everything from roughing to finishing without changing the grinding wheel, delivering ultimate precision for fine forming.
Feature
・ATC (Auto Tool Changer) makes runout correction difficult and requires balancing and reference setting, making it unsuitable for precision forming operations. Therefore, we recommend always mounting two spindles.
・Supports machining on both sides utilizing the tilt head function. By using roughing stones and finishing stones separately, it is also possible to achieve sharper corner radii.
・Compatible with APC. By using image processing from the standard-equipped CCD camera to recognize the starting position for processing relative to the reference position each time, it is possible to cancel errors during pallet exchange.
・The entire process—from CAD data import to precision machining, automatic measurement via CCD camera, tolerance grinding, and automatic workpiece exchange—enables the quantification and automation of precision form grinding.
