Concept
Improving the roundness of center holes to support higher-precision cylindrical grinding
Feature
・In precision machining based on the combination of the center and center hole, the center hole must be perfectly round. If the center hole is not perfectly round, the workpiece’s center position will constantly shift during rotation, making precise machining impossible.
・Standard equipment includes a stepless speed variator with a toishi shaft (max. 40,000 min-1).
・The range of forming angles for the tool stone has been significantly expanded to 0°–180°, compared to the previous model.
・The grinding wheel spindle performs high-precision planetary motion, grinding the workpiece without rotation. This eliminates the need for rough grinding on the peripheral holding section.
