A double-column surface grinder meeting the high precision demands of progressive dies for automotive motor cores and LCD component processing, as well as the high-efficiency grinding requirements and short delivery times demanded by the mold base machining industry.
Feature
・This high-efficiency grinding machine inherits the floor space and setup ease of the long-selling PSG208DXNC column-type surface grinder. By utilizing a 100mm grinding wheel width, it enables machining of workpieces up to 1,000mm in front-to-back width.
・The world-strategy textless dialogue software (iQ software) can be easily operated via touch input while viewing icons on the screen.
・The CH-iQ series is the first surface grinder to feature an automatic data creation function. Simply input the roughing allowance and finishing allowance, followed by the abrasive grit size, and it automatically generates optimal grinding and dressing conditions based on grinding theory combined with our accumulated experience.
・Combining the optional top dresser with the finishing table dresser reduces dressing time. Furthermore, the shift plunge grinding cycle significantly contributes to cycle time reduction by performing roughing with traverse grinding and finishing with plunge grinding.
