Our proprietary program software handles contour shapes and complex machining, as well as contouring of carbide dies.
Feature
・Equipped with the same software as the IGM15EXⅢ, simply input the abrasive grain size, abrasive diameter, and abrasive width, then enter the workpiece nominal diameter to automatically generate optimal grinding and dressing conditions.
・The screen displays no text; input is completed by touching the panel buttons while viewing them. Furthermore, the use of a touch panel eliminates the need for additional switches.
・The IGM15NCⅢ offers optional simultaneous 2-axis taper and contouring grinding software. It enables advanced grinding operations and allows grinding conditions to be saved.
・The IGM15NCⅢ-2 enables single-chuck grinding of stepped holes, end faces, tapers, and outer peripheries using two grinding spindles. This improves concentricity and perpendicularity accuracy.
・The cutting spindle employs a closed-loop scale feedback system as standard, significantly improving dimensional accuracy.

Contour Grinding Programming Software ~EDELAC win~
Grinding contour shapes requires not only machine performance but also machining software incorporating years of accumulated know-how. EDELAC Win not only imports CAD data and quickly creates optimal programming using its proprietary post-processing software, but also allows simulation of the grinding wheel’s path on the computer screen.
It is particularly advantageous for internal shapes where interference between the tool and workpiece is difficult to visually confirm.
